In 1969, Big Indian Campground was established, and in 1973 it
became Crazy Horse Campground. The campground closed its
doors in the early '90s and sat dormant until it came under new
ownership in 2005, was completely renovated, and reopened in the
spring of 2007.
Most renovation and construction was done by the owners' hands
along with the great help of many in the local community.
We really appreciate all of the help we received getting the
campground to where it is today and where it's going in the future!
